Making Baby's First Christmas Special
(They might be too young to remember but YOU will always remember baby’s 1st Xmas)
1- Get a tree decoration/bauble to commemorate
Having a decoration that you can get out year after year will bring back all those lovely memories of celebrating your first Christmas as a new parent.
2- Wear matching family pjs
Who doesn’t love matching with our minis? Even better if you can get your whole family in on the act.
3- Watch your favourite Xmas films with them
Nothing gets me in the festive spirit more than snuggling up on the sofa with Home Alone or The Christmas Chronicles on the tv. If you’ve got a really tiny baby who loves to snuggle in then this is the perfect way to spend a couple of hours.
4- Go for winter walks together (to look at the lights on houses if possible)
Bundle up and get out for some fresh winter air. Take a tour of your local area to see all the Christmas lights people have put up- this year people really seem to be going the extra mile! (Although don’t make our mistake & do check the weather forecast before you head out!)
5- Take lots of pictures of ‘Baby’s 1st Christmas’ and frame it
I mean what new parent isn’t constantly taking pics of their new baby! But make sure you’re not the one taking the pictures all the time, get others to take them with you in, or take selfies!
I’m so excited to be celebrating our first Christmas with Jesse, even though he’s still so young I want to make sure our first Christmas as a family is a special one! What’s your thoughts on this- will you be making Christmas special for your baby because you will remember it or won’t you bother because they won’t?
